QMS awarded Best Companies One to Watch for second year in a row
For the second year in a row, QMS has made it onto the Best Companies Ones to Watch list.
Each year, Best Companies carry out a series of employee engagement surveys on behalf of organisations like QMS. The surveys measure how much employees feel valued and involved in their everyday work. They’re intended to gain a better understanding of the employee experience which then allows businesses
to improve engagement and performance using this insight.
“We’re delighted that whilst going through another very busy year, with plenty of change throughout the business, we have succeeded in retaining our ‘One to Watch’ accreditation. This is a great achievement for the whole QMS team.”
Lucie Nash, Human Resources Manager
QMS has supported its colleagues with training courses and professional qualifications such as the IRCA Lead Auditor training. They also continue to give back to the community through regular events arranged by a dedicated charity committee.
Employee engagement is at the heart of Citation Group’s dynamic people strategy because the company believes that great customer service starts with great internal engagement. This is supported across the Group by Citation also winning a place on The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For 3 years in a row (2015, 2016, 2017).
Chief People Officer, Linda Jodrell, commented
“What makes any company the best is its people and getting into The Sunday Times Top 100 for a third-year running is testament to the brilliant people who work for us. Our company is not defined by a logo, but by each and every one of us, so creating an environment where people want to give their best every day is ultimately what our people strategy is about –happy colleagues equal happy clients.”
The unique open culture at Citation Group has helped it achieve strong growth because its people embrace change seeing it as an opportunity to learn and grow and be the best. Engagement isn’t about lots of fancy extra benefits that cost lots but valued little, it is about a business that encourages people to love their jobs by treating them as individuals and involving them so they can be part of its success story.
